There are two types of PayPal account. We have a personal account and a business account.
The business account is broader than the personal account. With the personal account, you can’t use it to do more transaction online.
But the business accounts give you the opportunity to conduct more business online.

It’s simple. A business registered in Ghana by a foreigner it’s required to have a local business address. PayPal understands that and due to that, during the registration process, you will have an option to select Ghana as your business country.
From there you do that then you can use the other details like your Ghana Phone Number and National ID.

Now that’s all. You have successfully created your account. With this account, you can send and receive money anywhere in the world. But what you can’t do is withdrawal.
You can’t withdraw any cash from this account until you link it with your visa card or bank account.
If you are in Ghana, you can link it to your visa or master card and with that whenever you have money in the account you can transfer it to the card and withdraw at any visa ATM.
How To Link A Card To Your PayPal Account
To link a visa or master card to a PayPal account, you first need to have the card ready. There are many bank cards that you can use to link to your account. But the type of Visa card we will recommend is either UBA Africard, First Atlantic Bank Visa card, ADB Prepaid Card or Fidelity card.
You can Read this post to see how to get the UBA Card. Once you get the card, you can come back and see the rest of the steps involved in linking the card to your account.
To link a card to your account first you have to log in to the PayPal account. Once you are in your account look at the top right corner of the navigation you will see one red notification.
Click on it and you will see an indication that says link a card.
Once you click on that link, you will be redirected to the Next page.
Now fill in the required fields. All the information they required can be found on your card. Just make sure you enter the correct info and when done click on the link.
Now PayPal will send you a confirmation code in your card statement. If you are using the UBA Africard, all that you need to do is to log in to your online portal and look at the transaction section for the code.
The code comes in the form of PxxP. Copy only the numbers and then goes back to the link page and past the code to confirm.
Note! You will need at least $1.95 which is equivalent to GHS 12.00 in your account before you can link the card. The money will later be refunded t your account.
Now once the pasted code is correct you will get a success message from PayPal and you are done. Now anytime you have money in your account you can transfer that money to your card and then cash it out from any visa ATM in the country.
