The government of Ghana set to make learning materials available on WhatsApp platform for Senior High School students across Ghana.

With this, SHS Students have the chance to learn from home as — the Ghana Education Service (GES) on behalf of the government has confirmed that it will soon make learning materials available on WhatsApp platform.

This initiative is to help enhance the access to educational content by Senior High School students (SHS) in Ghana.

As information confirmed, the Director-General of the Ghana Education Service made this on the April 15, 2020 in an interview.

According to him, since some students are unable to access the online portal launched by the Ministry of Education, icampusgh.com for educational content due to the limitations and other unknown reasons which should not be a disadvantage, the WhatsApp platform could be of help.

In his view, sharing the learning materials on WhatsApp platform could help in reaching more SHS students across the country.

He also said the online platform dubbed the icampusgh.com can be accessed by only SHS students by entering their BECE index numbers and year of completion to successfully log in.
