How To Top-Up Airtime Using MTN Mobile Money

  1. Dial the code *170#
  2. Go to “Mobile Money” menu then select option 3 – Airtime & Bundle.
  3. Choose the first option – 1 (Airtime-100% bonus self) from the sub-menu
  4. Choose either self or other.
  5. Enter the amount of airtime to buy
  6. Confirm details and input your MTN Mobile Money PIN. You will receive a confirmation message indicating that you have successfully purchased airtime.

How To Buy Airtime With AirtelTigo Cash

  1. First dial *110# and then you will be taken to the AirtelTigo cash main menu.
  2. Now once you are on the page, you will be displayed with all the mobile money menus. Select option 2 from the menu
  3. Now you will be given the chance to choose whether you want to buy airtime or data bundle. Since your aim is to buy airtime, you choose the first option
  4. After choosing the buy airtime option, you select 1, if you want to buy for yourself otherwise select the option that suits your demand.

How To Top-up Airtime Using Vodafone Cash

Just like MTN Mobile Money, Vodafone Cash also has same pattern to follow when buying airtime from your Vodafone Cash account. Just read and follow below:

  1. Dial *110# to go to the Vodafone cash menu. Once you are on the menu, select option 3 to see the options available
  2. From the submenu, choose option 3 -buy airtime or data
  3. Here you will see three submenus, choose the first option: “buy airtime”
  4. Then select the first option – my phone. If you are buying for yourself otherwise select the other options
  5. Now enter the amount
  6. Confirm details and enter your Mobile Money PIN.

How To Buy Airtime To All Network From Any Mobile Money Account Using A Code – Mula (Now: Tigg)

  1. Dial *234#
  2. Select option #3 – Buy Airtime
  3. Select Network to buy Airtime for.
  4. Then enter the phone number to buy the airtime. eg. MTN: 0244xxxxxx
  5. Type the amount to pay. eg: 5
  6. Select #1 to confirm the message that says pay GHS 5 to the number.
  7. Now, choose payment method: MTN Mobile Money, AirtelTigo Cash or Vodafone Cash
  8. Finally, wait for the pop-up to come for you to confirm with your Mobile Money PIN code or
  9. You can dial your Mobile Money Menu and confirm the payment from My Wallet >> My Approvals >> Enter MoMo PIN to confirm.
