Follow these steps to register your NIN via the MTN Shortcode:

    • Send after pressing *785#.
    • You will see a window that asks you to enter your 11-digit national identification number. Send after entering your 11-digit national identification number.
    • The phrase “your NIN has been successfully received” will appear in a window.

    To register your NIN on the MTN website, go through these steps:

    • Go to the Customer NIN Capture website: https://nin.mtn.ng/
    • Enter your MTN number
    • Enter your NIN number.
    • Enter your email address
    • Click submit.
