WhatsApp Dark Mode Now Available For iPhone And Android.
The popular Instant Messaging App, WhatsApp has finally rolled out its Dark Mode version on the instant messaging app for all its iPhone and Android users across the globe.
As WhatsApp has officially announced Dark mode availability on Android and IPhones, the new update will be rolling out in the coming days as confirmed on the official WhatsApp blog.
As told by WhatsApp on their the official blog page. It confirms that the dark mode gives a fresh look on a similar experience. Which is design to reduce eye strain in low light environments. This as a result to help prevent those awkward moments where your phone used to light up in your room.
According to WhatsApp, “We are very excited to update WhatsApp. It is the most requested feature from our users everywhere – dark mode.”
Per the information, WhatsApp stated that it spent more time for researching and experimenting with the focus on two particular areas when designing the dark mode. These are:
Readability: When choosing colours, it wanted to minimize eye fatigue and use the colours that are closer to the system defaults on iPhone and Android respectively.
Information Hierarchy: That it wanted to help all smartphone users to focus their attention on each screen. This was done by using colours and other design elements to make sure the most important information stands out.
