To check your WAEC results online via the the WAEC results portal, you do not need a scratch card to buy, you are to use the Smart Identity Card used during the conduct of the exam for your result checker PIN and serial number on the WAEC result Checker Portal.

  • Log on to the WAEC results checker at https://www.waecdirect.org
  • On the portal, you fill in your WAEC examination number in the right column or box
  • Select your WAEC examination year e.g 2020
  • Select your examination type e.g SCHOOL CANDIDATE RESULT
  • Enter your Smart Identity Card Serial Number
  • Then, the card PIN
  • Then, click on SUBMIT to get your WAEC Results clearly displayed for you on your screen.

How to Check Your WAEC Results Offline (Via SMS)

To check your WAEC results via SMS is quite easy, but you have to follow the format below:

WAEC*EXAM NO*PIN*EXAM YEAR to 32327

Now, you go to the SMS app on your phone ans use that format, then you send to 32327. For example: WAEC*5260721004*987654321102*2020 to 32327.

You should note that you have to strictly follow the format above. You must have at least #30 on your network main account, for the SMS service costs #30, It is available to all major network providers in Nigeria.
