MTN Introduces Airtime and Data Bundles Top Up Via WhatsApp And Here’s How
Now you can buy your data bundle and airtime in the comfort of your room without closing your WhatsApp account with the help of the new chat brought by the telecommunication network, MTN named MTN Chat.
MTN in launching the MTN Chat, specified that it is a service that is going to run through WhatsApp and is the world’s first innovation in terms of mobile according to Mapula Bodibe being the Executive for MTN Consumer Business Unit in South Africa.
With this MTN Chat, it allows its cherished users to conveniently top up airtime and bundles on WhatsApp.
There are over 15 million of subscribers over WhatsApp that are using MTN network for browsing and this service just comes as the best solution for these subscribers.
The service brings a human side to a digital service and is going to evolve to even more service on the app and MTN wishes to incorporate other instant messaging (IM) platforms such as Facebook Messenger and more.
Just when using any other app, there are privacy concerns in respect of using credit or debit cards for making purchases.
Security is highly important and protected and confidentiality features have been built in to the MTN Chat to give a secure means of communication. Customers interact with a kind of single number that has a verification marker just to lessen the gravity of fraud.
With the issue of privacy and safeness, iOS users has the chance to lock their screen with the screen lock feature on WhatsApp as an added security measure. This means that you will need to use touch id or face id to verify the user before opening WhatsApp. This updates are available on the latest version of WhatsApp and can be activated by going into Settings- Account-Privacy and selecting screen lock.
