Ghana To Begin A National Digital Address System To Transform The Economy – Dr. Bawumia.
The Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in a news report today, confirmed that the government of Ghana will start a national digital address system to change the economy in November this year.
Dr. Bawumia disclosed this in an interview on Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo” show on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 that, over 4 million unique addresses have been developed for every property found in Ghana currently.
Not only this, but Dr. Bawumia added in addition that, every house in Ghana will be having an address and this is part of the government of Ghana’s agenda to digitize the nation. This is to happen by November this year.
“Every property in Ghana will have a unique address in November… You’re going to have a completely working national property addressing system.”
There will also be a name for every street in Ghana, as Dr. Bawumia told Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo” show host, Kwame Sefa Kayi.
Ghana has been improving in digitization recently and a lot of activities are switched to the digital world and thanks to the government of Ghana — for their implementation of digitization in various sectors in Ghana.
