How do I record my iPhone screen with sound?

Unfortunately, your iPhone will by default just record the screen minus external sounds around the screen. Use the instructions below to capture both your iPhone’s screen and audio if you want it to record sound at the same time as the screen capture.

On your iPhone, turn on the microphone ( this will also capture in-app audio) if you wish to record your voice while screen recording.
The iPhone’s ringer should be on, but the microphone should be deactivated if you only want to capture app audio.
The screen recording will be silent if you turn off your microphone and set your ringer to silent.
Open your Settings application, select Privacy, select Microphone, and then switch on or off any program you wish voiceover functionality for when screen recording. If you don’t want voiceover or background noise to be recorded along with your screen recording, turn the app off.
