Digital Satellite Television, DStv, is a Sub-Saharan African direct broadcast satellite service owned by MultiChoice and headquartered in Randburg, South Africa.
Launched on October 6, 1995, the service offers subscribers, primarily in South Africa and Nigeria, a variety of audio, radio, and television channels and services. DStv previously operated in Thailand under the banner of United Broadcasting Corporation (UBC), which is now TrueVisions.
