History Of CFNI
In 1970, Gordon Lindsay, an American preacher, and his wife Freda Lindsay established the Christ for the Nations Institute (CFNI). Gordon passed away in 1973, and Mrs. Lindsay and her family carried on running the facility. More than 33,000 students have received training from the organization, which has also reached 120 different countries and helped local congregations build more than 12,500 churches around the world. Until she retired in her 90s, she was still actively involved as the President of Christ for the Nations. Gordon Lindsay Day, a day set aside by the institute to commemorate and celebrate the legacy of its founder, was observed on March 26, 2010, the day “Mom” Lindsay passed away at the age of 95 at home. The president of CFNI at the moment is their son, Dennis Lindsay.
