Follow the instructions below to set your Internet setting in Android.
- Go to the Menu >Settings >Wireless & networks
- Go to Mobile Networks >Access Point Names >Menu key
- Click On APN
- Click on the “plus” sign at the top right corner.
- Enter the following internet settings into the empty fields
- Name – MTN Ghana APN
- Internet Proxy – 175.17.3.5
- Port – 8080
- Username – Leave it be empty
- Password – Leave it empty
- Server -Leave it empty
- MMSC – Not Set
- MMS Proxy – Leave ite empty
- MMS Port – Leave it empty
- MCC – Leave it empty
- MNC – Leave it empty
- Authentication Type – PAP
- APN Type – mms
MTN Ghana APN Settings for iOS
In your Apple iPhone
- go to Settings
- Then select Cellular > Cellular Data Network
- You then click on APN and enter the following details
Cellular Data:
APN: Internet
Username: Blank
Password: Blank
MMS:
APN : mms
Username: empty
Password: empty
MMSC: http://172.17.3.7
MMS Proxy: 172.17.3.5:8080
MMS Message Size: 1048576
MMS UA Prof URL: empty
