Tecno Spark 5 Coming Soon, Set For Ghana Unveiling.
Tecno is set to make another budget smartphone, the Tecno Spark 5, available in Ghana soon.
News of the unannounced Tecno Spark 5’s arrival comes just days after Tecno introduced its Camon 15 series into the local market.
The device’s set arrival is within what we have come to expect from the Chinese brand: refreshes of its lineups at least twice in a year. The last generation of Tecno Spark smartphones, the Spark 4, entered the Ghanaian market just over 6 months ago.
While it is still a little bit early to be in the know about everything to do with the Spark 5, we do know that Tecno will be extending its focus on the camera on the Spark 5 (series?).
The device will arrive with four cameras at the back – with the usual marketing hype surrounding its AI smarts – and one on the front. They will be accompanied by a quad-LED flash setup at the back and a double set on the front. How the latter will be achieved, given that the Tecno Spark 5 will have a “Dot-In” (Tecno’s way of referring to the punch hole arrangement) display like the one found on the Camon series, remains something we are eager to see (tip: you can witness something similar on the Camon 15).
We also expect the display size to increase. Given the last generation had a 6.52-inch display, just how far can they go?
Battery capacity is also set to increase from the 4,000mAh of the Spark 4 to a whopping 5,000mAh sealed unit.
Of course, it goes without saying that the Spark 5 series will be the second one to arrive with Android 10 right out of the box under the colourfulness of Tecno’s own HiOS, currently in its 6th version.
