Remitly
Remitly allows you to send money from Ghana to the USA and vice versa. They accept credit cards. If you have one, you can create a visa card. Unlike Xoom and Western Union, Remitly does not have a minimum limit which makes it possible to send a small amount of money. Also, their charges are much cheaper.
On Remitly, choosing Express allows you to send your money much quicker but charges more than the Economy which may delay but with less fee.

Wise is another money transfer service that allows you to send money from Ghana to the United States. They have a very simple account setup process. One good thing about Wise is they always use the exact exchange rate you see on Google with no extra hidden cost.

WorldRemit
WorldRemit specializes in sending remittances and small amounts of money. You can send up to USD5,000 from the US to Ghana using these services. Generally, they offer better rates than your local bank and more delivery options than PayPal, Western Union, or MoneyGram.
The fee ranges from USD0.99 for small amounts to USD9.99 for the maximum transfer amount.
Transfers usually take 1-3 working days to complete. Money transfers are usually available within minutes.
Western Union
Money transfer company Western Union is one of the oldest and largest in the world. They offer a variety of ways to send money to Ghana. Using their app or in person at one of their locations across the United States, you can send money online or by phone. The company offers both money transfers and cash collection services.
With so many payment options available, it’s difficult to calculate the cost without the online calculator.
