About Estrellita School
In August 2006, La Academia de Estrellas Charter School opened its doors to pupils in Dallas’ Oak Cliff neighborhood. The school first resided in rented premises from Cliff Temple Baptist Church (CTBC), and in January 2015 it relocated into its Kiest facility. In its 15 years of existence, the school’s enrolment has increased from 270 students to over 1,000. Additionally, as enrollment has grown, so have the number of staff; at the moment, La Academia de Estrellas Charter School is home to nearly 130 full-time workers
Students in Kindergarten through eighth grade attend LAE’s main campus on Kiest, which also houses the charter offices. Furthermore, the Early Childhood Center (ECC), which is situated on Hampton Road, offers a half-day program for pupils who are three years old and a full-day program for four-year-old students.
