Wireless Fidelity service, normally referred to as WiFi service has gained much ground in Ghana, and most of the telecommunications companies in Ghana provide the service.
In this article, we will be looking at the WiFi services provided by one of Ghana’s vibrant networks, Vodafone, and will be looking at the packages and prices that come along with the service.
About WiFi
WiFi is a set of wireless network protocols based on the IEEE 802.11 family of standards that are widely used for device local area networking and Internet access.
These are the most widely used computer networks in the world, used in home and small office networks to connect desktop and laptop computers, tablet computers, smartphones, smart TVs, printers, and smart speakers together and to a wireless router to connect them to the Internet, and in wireless access points in public places such as coffee shops, hotels, libraries, and airports to provide mobile devices with public Internet access.
Types of WiFi Services on Vodafone
On Vodafone, there are two types WiFi services and these are the Vodafone ultra-fast fibre broadband and the Vodafone Smart Surf service.

Standard ADSL packages – These are the standard packages that are associated with the Vodafone Fibre Broadband. Below are the prices;
Browser (GHC 100 – 26GB), Streamer (GHC 180 – 80GB), Webmaster (GHC 210 – 104GB), and Downloader (GHC 320 – 290GB)
The above packages expire after 30 days, however, there are other non-expiry bundles and these bundles are Browser (GHC 95 – 17GB), Streamer (GHC 145 – 33GB), and Webmaster (GHC 210 – 66GB).
