Option 3 should be chosen (Buy airtime or data)
Option 1 should be chosen (Buy Airtime)

Registering for MTN Mobile Money
In case you want to register for MTN Mobile Money, just take a valid photo ID to any MTN Retail Shop or agent. Name, Date of Birth, Location, MTN Mobile Number, National ID details, and Next of Kin details must be provided.
How do you deposit money into your MTN Mobile Money wallet?
Visit an MTN Retail Store or a mobile money provider. Give the agent your MTN phone number and the amount of money you want to deposit. You will be notified via SMS that the same amount has been credited to your wallet and have in mind that the deposit is completely free.
