Vodafone Ghana was founded on August 17, 2008, when it purchased 70% of Ghana Telecom from the Ghanaian government for $900 million. The network took over and transformed the company’s name to Vodafone Ghana from Ghana Telecom.

Requirements for Vodafone Cash Registration.
To successfully register for Vodafone Cash, you need to have the following documents handy. .
- A registered Vodafone SIM Card
- A national Identification Card (travelling passport, voter’s ID, Driver’s Licence or Ghana Card)
- Accurate personal details (name, telephone number, address.)
There are several ways to register onto the Vodafone Cash platform. You can decide to register for the Vodafone Cash service all by yourself.
Method 1: Registering it By Yourself
You can sit in the comfort of your home and register for the Vodafone cash. See the steps below.
- Dial the short code *558#
- You will provide your necessary details like your name, date of birth, Gender and address.
- You will be required to input the ID number you are using to register. Identification Cards to be used include (travelling passport, voter’s ID, Driver’s Licence or Ghana Card)
- After successfully providing your details, you will receive a message notifying you of your successful registration.
- You will be required to set your Mobile Money PIN.
Note: You can send your valid National ID details to *5006# or you can visit any Vodafone Retail shop with a valid photo ID for correction and verification.
In case you register with the wrong details, Vodafone will verify your details with a system to check the authenticity of the ID details provided. However, if the details are incorrect it will be rejected.
Method 2: How to register Vodafone Cash Online.
You can sit home and register for Vodafone cash online by following the steps below.

- Follow the proceeding prompts to complete registration.
Method 3: By calling a Vodafone Customer agent on 100.
You can also call the customer care representatives with the following steps.
- Buy and register a Vodafone SIM Card.
- Get your national identification card and personal details.
- Call the Vodafone Customer Line on 100. A customer representative will speak with you.
- Tell the customer care representative you want to register for Vodafone Cash. Your details will be taken and registration will be done for you instantly.
- You will be required to set your Mobile Money PIN.
Method 4: Visit a nearby accredited Vodafone agent.
- Visit the nearest Vodafone Cash Agent for Registration.
- All your necessary details needed for your registration wil be taken by the agent.
- You will receive an SMS confirming that your Account is active.
- Select “0” to activate your account and Enter Vodafone Cash start PIN.
- Enter new PIN.
- Confirm New PIN. Keep this PIN safe. It will be required to authorize every transaction you make on Vodafone Cash.

Activate your account;
- Dial *110#
- Select 0 to activate and follow with your secret PIN.
- Enter PIN again to confirm.
Loading your Vodafone Cash Account
You can load your Vodafone cash account with the following process
- Visit any Mobile Money agent or at a Vodafone Retail shop
- Inform the agent you want to load your wallet.
- You will provide your number and the amount you want to be deposited in your account.
How to send money on Vodafone Cash.
You can send money, via the following steps. .

- Enter option 1 (Send money)
- Enter option 1 (Vodafone) or other options when sending to other networks
- Type in option 1 (To enter recipient number)
- Type the recipient’s number
- Enter the amount you want to send
- Type in your reference number
- Enter your 4-digit PIN CODE.
- Press 1 to confirm
How to buy internet bundle
To buy internet data, follow the steps below.

- Enter option 3 (buy airtime and data)
- Choose option 2 (buy data bundle)
