Spokesperson of TikTok made a post on a blog saying: “We have made clear that TikTok has never shared user data with the Chinese government, nor censored content at its request,”.
Meanwhile, Microsoft had plans to acquire TIK TOK and it is not clear how the ban is going to affect the agreement. The discussions with Microsoft is meant to be concluded by September 15th.
