International Direct Dialing (IDD) packages allow you to speak to your friends and loved ones who are not in Ghana.
These packages make life comfortable considering the fact that normal calls outside Ghana take quite an overwhelming amount of money.
On Vodafone, there are some International direct dialing (IDD) packages that customers can enjoy and in this article, we will be taking a look at these bundles.
Available IDD Bundles on Vodafone
On Vodafone, there are two IDD bundles and these bundles are;
Africa Daily Bundle – This bundle is available for GHC 2 and you get 3 minutes of talk time. You can use it to call friends and loved ones in Egypt, Morocco, Nigeria, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Malawi, South Africa, and Angola.
Africa Weekly Bundle – This bundle is available for GHC 5 and you get 8 minutes of talk time. You can use it to call friends and loved ones in Egypt, Morocco, Nigeria, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Malawi, South Africa, and Angola.
How to subscribe to Vodafone IDD bundles
As earlier mentioned, there are two IDD bundles on Vodafone and each bundle has its own way of subscribing. Below is how you can subscribe to these bundles;
Africa Daily Bundle
Dial *150#
Choose option 1
Choose option 1 again when the window opens to subscribe
NB: You can simply dial *150*1*1# to subscribe straightaway
Africa Weekly Bundle
Dial *150#
Choose option 1
Choose option 2 again when the window opens to subscribe
NB: You can simply dial *150*1*2# to subscribe straightaway
There are other packages that are available on the Vodafone Landline service. These packages can be purchased for as low as GHC 10 and you can get about 60 minutes of talk time to call friends and loved ones in the UK, the US, and Canada.
Check out these packages below;
Landline Basic – You pay GHC 10 and you get 250 minutes to call Vodafone numbers, 15 minutes to call other networks, and 60 minutes for IDD calls.
Landline Standard – You pay GHC 20 and you get 550 minutes to call Vodafone numbers, 35 minutes to call other networks, and 120 minutes for IDD calls.
Landline Extra – You pay GHC 50 and you get 1700 minutes to call Vodafone numbers, 90 minutes to call other numbers, and 250 minutes for IDD calls.
To subscribe for the above packages, do the following;
- Dial 134 to top up with a scratch card and 124 to check your balance on your landline
- Top up with Vodafone Cash by dialing *110#, selecting 3, 1, 3, then entering your phone number and following the prompts.
