It is an internet plan specially designed for naturally nocturnal individuals, people who have to work at night, and for students who want to burn the midnight candle by using the internet to study. Although this plan is suitable for both new and existing customers, it will only work better and be enjoyed by those using android smartphones on 3G or 4G. Furthermore, this plan is also very cheap as you can get 250MB for N25, 500MB for N50, 1GB for N100, and 2GB for N200. These data bundles are suitable for downloads, web surfing, and all social media including YouTube, Facebook, Whatsapp, Twitter, and Instagram.
How to Subscribe for MTN Night Plan.
Subscribing to the MTN night plan is quite easy and works for new and existing customers. But, unfortunately, this night plan is only applicable to those on the MTN Pulse tariff plan. Anyways, as a customer in other tariff plans, you can still subscribe and activate this plan by dialing *406#. Once you have dialed this code, it will show you this message like in the picture below.
Once you have dialed this code and you see this pop-up message, select the third option which is number 3, and select the plan that is appropriate for you. MTN gives permission of subscribing up to 2GB. That is you can subscribe to this plan by selecting the 500MB plan for N50 four times in a row.
Note that once you have activated this night plan, your tariff plan migrates to MTN Pulse automatically. However, migrating to this tariff plan without subscribing to the night plant is free and frequent migrations to other tariff plans costs you N100 per migration.
MTN Night Plan Activation Time.
If you want to subscribe to the MTN night data bundle, you must have done so before 11 pm. At exactly 11 pm, the night data bundle will be activated and won’t expire or deactivate until 6 am in the morning. Therefore, the night data bundle runs from 11 am to 6 am.
