How To Rename Program In Task Manager Details Tab

An excellent tool for managing apps on your computer is the Task Manager app. By entering the process’s name in the search field in the top left of the screen, you can start it. But occasionally, renaming a process could be preferable to starting it.

The Details tab in Task Manager contains details about a process. Additionally, it includes buttons for ending or stopping the procedure. If the “Description” field for a program listed in the “Processes” section of Windows Task Manager is empty, you can alter the process’ name to make it easier to recognize which software it really is.

In this guide, we look at what it is when we mention Task Manager and how you can rename a program in the task manager details tab.
