How To Move a Table in Google Docs Over Short Distance

The easiest method is to drag and drop your table to the desired area if you only need to move it a small range, such to another location on the same page. Choose the whole table.

You can accomplish this by selecting your table in blue and scrolling your cursor through each cell. Make sure the entire table is chosen.

To move the table to a new location in the document, click and drag it with your cursor.

How To Move Tables in Google Docs Using the Cut Function 

To relocate a table, click and drag the cursor over it until all of its rows and columns are selected. Press the right mouse button on the chosen table until a dropdown option appears. Select the Cut option from the dropdown menu that displays. By alternately hitting Ctrl/Cmd and X on your keyboard, you can also use the Cut feature. The chosen table will thereafter momentarily vanish from the document. However, if the table is still stuck in place after you’ve chosen the Cut function, right-click on it once more and select the Delete table function.

The chosen table will thereafter momentarily vanish from the document. However, if the table is still stuck in place after you’ve chosen the Cut function, right-click on it once more and select the Delete table function.

Set the cursor where you would like the table to go in the document as you scroll down and click. By simultaneously hitting the keyboard keys Ctrl/Cmd + V, you can also use the Paste feature.

The table then reappears at the new spot where you positioned it.

Is It Possible To Change The Table on your Google Docs Document to a Different Page?

You can transfer the table to a different page if you’ve clearly marked it in your document. Make sure to click and drag the aforementioned table to the new position you intend to place it.

After rearranging the table on your Google Docs document, is it still possible to resize it?

After transferring the table to a new spot on your document, you can still size it. To enlarge or reduce the size of the table, click and drag one of the boundaries of the mentioned table. A similar technique can be used to change the size of the cells.
