How do we detect our phone that is has been hacked and stop the hacker from causing any damages to our smartphone?

Hackers keep sharping their tools and finding ways to attack every time.

You might have notice something strange on your mobile. Sometimes, it comes in the form of mobile apps you did not download, pictures you did not take or messages not sent by you.

Not every hacker will stop the traces but it’s time for us to also look out for them.

You phone speed reduces drastically and starts to run slowly. Malware might be running in the background which might have reduced the power of the phone.

A sudden spike in data usage as a malicious process may be running in the background to track what you have been doing. All these malicious activities consume more data.

When your phone camera suddenly comes on and goes off with the flashlight doing same, it is a good way to know that you have been hacked. This means someone is remotely controlling your device. Your device might even get very hot even though you are not using it.

Finding the attacker might be difficult and that is why it is always recommended to keep your devices safe from hackers. If you have a weak password, kindly change it to a stronger password so as these hackers won’t be able to guess.

Avoid visiting websites you do not trust also

Most of these websites do contain viruses that can be injected into your mobile phone to by spying any activity you perform using your mobile phone.

Avoid using unsecured Wi-Fi

The best way to know if you have been hacked is when you start seeing some pop ups from nowhere. Connecting to unsecured Wi-Fi networks can also cause this. Do not connect to an unsecured Wi-Fi as well.
