How to Check MTN Data Balance With USSD Code
Checking your MTN data balance via USSD code is the most common and quickest way to check how much data you have used and how much data is remaining. You can dial *131*4# to be know all your available data balance, which includes your main data balance and bonuses granted to you by MTN. When you dial this code, a message will be delivered to you with all the information you need on your data balance.
Also, you can also dial *559#. When you dial this code, you will receive a quick code stating just your MTN data balance.
This is another method for you as an MTN subscriber to view how much data you have used and how much is remaining. To check your data balance via SMS, just go to your SMS and text 2 to 131. Immediately, it will reply to your message by showing a detailed message of your data balance and its expiry date. Alternatively, you can text 403 to 131.
Via Call Care Representative
Yes you can be told your how much data you have used by calling the call care representative. To speak with the call care representative, dial 180 and call.
Via myMTN App
MyMTN App is another great feature that allows you to access numerous services from MTN. It’s basically an app where you can do all sorts of things like buy data, check balance, pay bills, and even recharge airtime and data balance. If you do not have MyMTN App on your phone, you can download it here or get to Google Playstore to download. For your first download, you get 500MB worth of free data.
