In 3 years ago, WhatsApp stopped the support for some phones such as BlackBerry devices and in 2017, the support for some Android, iOS and Windows devices that are running on older versions was stopped too.
According to the information sighted on WhatsApp blog indicates that WhatsApp to stopped working on some Android smartphones that running on 2.3.7 and that of older versions of iPhones with iOS 8 downwards after February 1, 2020 to come.
