How To Add Apps To Samsung Smart TV
As mentioned earlier, Samsung Smart TVs have the ability to have several apps on them. Before you use these apps on the Samsung Smart TV, you must first add these apps (install them on the TV). This section of the article will address how to add apps to Samsung Smart TV. If you want to add an app to Samsung Smart TV do the following;
- On your remote control, press the Home button.
- Select APPS, followed by the Search icon in the top-right corner.
- Enter and select the app you want to download. You’ll see app information as well as screenshots and related apps.
- Choose Install and press the Home button to launch the app. Simply highlight and select the app you want to open.
How to Delete or Uninstall Apps from Samsung Smart TV
Just as you were able to install an app on the Samsung TV, you can also delete installed apps, and if you want to do this, follow the steps below;
- On your remote control, press the Home button.
- Select APPS, then the Settings icon in the upper right corner.
- Choose the app you want to remove.
- Choose Delete.
If you don’t want to delete an app, but would want to have some restrictions on the app because of your children, you can lock it. If you want to lock an app on the Samsung Smart TV, do the following;
- On your remote control, press the Home button.
- Select APPS, followed by the Settings icon in the upper right corner.
- Choose Lock/Unlock after selecting the app you want to lock or unlock.
